With this site, I started an attempt to host some content (mainly photos) without publishing them through the usual social media channels.
Why?
The answer is simple:
I do not know what happens to my messages and photos which are lovingly crafted when I publish them on a foreign site. I am not against any social media at all, but when it comes to privacy, I really cannot give an estimate what will happen with my content in the future when I upload it to servers in a foreign country with less privacy rights than the one I live in where all social media company owners are among the richest people in the world. Whatever purpuse they have, I am not sure, that I might agree when it comes to the use of my content.
All photos on this website are either shot by myself or my wife. We do this to stay in contact with our friends and family. Nothing more.
